Hi Nicole,

That is what I was thinking but I am really not sure if this is IBS, I do think that whatever is going on with my tummy is not helping either my bowel nor my bladder.

I will take a look at l-glutamine and may also invest in some, I have  now  been referred to a specialist to look into the matter, so hopefully he will have some answers and solutions for me.

Just now my eczema has calmed down, it can be really painful and very uncomfortable very hard when you have it on your hands and fingers.

Hope you get some relief from your allergies too think h ving an AI disease brings on or exceberates other problems just can't win.

Best wishes

Lolly

Re: 6 months of LDN 1.5 mg

Hi Lolly,

I think I'm going to go off the LDN for a bit and see if that helps my allergies settle down (provided my eczema doesn't return).  In the meantime I'm going to treat for candida and get my endorphin boost from some accupuncture.

I hope they get your pain diagnosed and under control.

Best wishes,
Nicole

Hi Ladies....

I came across this article Peripheral Metabolism of Thyroid Hormones: A Review" recently ---  it's a pretty long article...however, it has some interesting info about how certain supplements may affect thyroid hormone production.

Also, there is a holistic doctor that I watch on TV -- Dr Richard Becker.  He has also written a book called Foundations for Healing --  he has a whole chapter on the diet  (includes supplement recommendations) for someone with alergies -- which includes eczema -- should be on.  In summary, he says at the root of the problem is in the intestines / gut.   Additionally he suggests a topical Noni cream for the eczema.

Best wishes...

Jan

Re: 6 months of LDN 1.5 mg

Thanks for the recommendations, Jan! It does seem that the ole leaky gut is responsible for a lot of my problems, esp. since they started after a reaction to an antibiotic (in March!).

The noni cream sounds like a good idea. I certainly have no interest in using steroids.

And I'll follow up on the thyroid article as well, because something is making my levels take a nosedive.

Best wishes,
Nicole

Hi Jannz

Thanks for the links, I will look more into it when I can function properly, the Noni cream sounds interesting I wonder if we can get it over here.
